Pete Cymbalak is the founder and Owner of Empowered Financial Management, LLC. Pete is Series 65 licensed, which means that he is solely a fiduciary advisor. Many advisors have additional series licenses in addition to their Series 65, but this only means that they can legally claim to be a fiduciary advisor while legally working under suitability guidelines – therefore, not in your best interests! Pete is proud that not only is he legally obligated to put their interests first, he wants to put their interests first. Why would you want to work with anyone who prefers suitability guidelines?

Retirement Planner and Investment Advisor Representative
Nick is an experienced Retirement Planner and Investment Advisor Representative with Empowered Financial Management. He works directly with retirees and pre-retirees to design individualized 6 Pillar retirement plans through the Empowered Solution. He works specifically with those who aspire to achieve financial independence and a work-optional lifestyle. Nick has been working in the financial services industry for over 26 years. Nick grew up in Milwaukee but has been a Madisonian for the past 22 years. Nick received his accounting degree from UW-Whitewater in 1991 and obtained his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2013.
Client Relations and Event Coordinator
Kayla plans and coordinates informational workshops and courses in addition to helping individuals and couples connect with our advisors so they can identify whether they are a fit for our firm. Kayla enjoys getting to know each person individually and thrives on guiding them through the entire process, extending the feeling of being a part of the Empowered family. Kayla works closely with our advisors and support team members to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
Processing Support Expert
Keturah is training to take the lead for our processing team, which involves handling transfers, contributions, applications and all other forms. Keturah Is excited about the opportunity to help streamline and improve the efficiency of back-end processes, ensuring smooth experiences for both clients and fellow team members. She is also looking forward to working more closely with you in the future.
Client Relations and Processing Coordinator
Cassie is a Processing Support Specialist on our processing team. She completes and tracks client requests, applications, transfers, distributions, withdrawals and other needs for our onboarding clients and existing clients. Cassie enjoys helping clients and is instrumental in assisting our clients with completing their full retirement plan. There are many detailed aspects of creating a retirement plan, so Cassie aims to make our clients feel comfortable and at ease, making a complex transition much easier for them.
Director of Marketing
Rhea is our marketing lead and is responsible for the design, creation and implementation of our marketing projects. With her entrepreneurial background, Rhea is passionate about assisting with the growth of the firm while at the same time creating processes to ensure continued planning and servicing for our clients. She supports strong communication with our clients with our social media account, emails and mailers. Rhea also provides support in coordinating our informational retirement offerings for pre-retirees, including dinner workshops, our conference exhibitions and our client events. Rhea understands our company’s passion for informing pre-retirees and retirees about retirement, and her marketing position gives her the opportunity to reach out to help as many individuals and families as we can.
As Marketing Assistant, Emma helps with the implementation of education and community outreach programs. Emma is always eager to find new ways to reach and service clients. She keeps clients up to date with company and retirement news through social media, emails and mailers. Although she doesn’t often work face-to-face with our clients, her position allows her to connect and aid them any way she can.
